Working with a dietitian can seem daunting as we are often thought of as the food police. But, that could not be further from the truth – for my part at least! I employ compassionate, non-judgmental care to empower you to choose a self-care framework that works for you. 

In our initial session, we’ll unpack your history and current relationship with food, your body, and self-care. We’ll work together to define your goals and create actionable steps to take charge of your health and happiness. In follow-up sessions, we’ll assess progress and tackle challenges together.

Think about nutrition counseling like therapy – we’re not going to be able to cover everything in one session.  If you’re like most of us, you’ve probably internalized years and years of diet culture, food rules, and self-criticism. All this is going to require work and time to unpack and reframe. For most people, weekly meetings seem to provide an appropriate amount of time to implement new tools and strategies between sessions.

Even though I am in-network with these companies, your specific plan determines how much insurance will cover.  I encourage you to speak with your insurance provider prior to booking an appointment to verify your benefits.

For any other insurance providers, I am able to provide a SuperBill to you to submit directly to your insurance. If you have any out of network benefits, you may be eligible to receive some reimbursement. You would be responsible for paying the out-of-pocket fee at the time of service.

Virtual appointments take place on a HIPPA-compliant video platform called Simple Practice.

You can access the platform via a mobile, tablet, or desktop computer.

I do not. I work best with those 18 years old or older. If you need a referral for anyone younger, I’d be happy to point you in the right direction!
